SCORENigeria understands that “a few details” still need to be sorted out before Jerome Akor will be officially announced as a new signing of French Ligue 1 side Montpellier.
Lillestrom striker Akor, 23, has passed his routine medical in France ahead of this transfer.
Transfer fee is put at between 4 and 5.5 Million Euros, which makes it the biggest ever sale by Norwegian club Lillestrom.
SCORENigeria further gathered that Montpellier came through for the striker after Belgian club OH Leuven could not meet up with the valuation of his club.
This season, Akor is the leading scorer in the Norwegian league with 15 goals in as many games.
