Adana Demirspor took the option to sign Henry Onyekuru on a permanent basis after the Turkish club punched a ticket to play in the UEFA Conference League next season.
Adana Demirspor president Murat Sancak disclosed: “We had to take up the option (to buy Onyekuru permanently). That was contained in our agreement that we do so should we qualify to play in Europe.”
The Turkish club finished fourth in the Super Lig last season.
They paid Olympiacos 3.5 Million Euros to sign the 25-year-old Super Eagles winger on a three-year contract.
Last season, he scored eight goals and made two assists in 30 appearances on loan from Olympiacos.
He previously played on three separate loan spells at another Turkish club Galatasaray.
