World football governing body FIFA have tipped AC Milan starlet Victor Eletu to shine the brightest for the Flying Eagles at the U20 World Cup in Argentina.
FIFA described the 18-year-old midfielder as “the brightest jewel in the crown of Nigerian football” who has enjoyed an outstanding season with the Milan U19s.
He has established himself in the Milan U19s after making 31 appearances in the youth league and six in the UEFA Youth Champions League, where the Italian club were beaten in the semifinal.
The report said Eletu, who signed a pro contract in December, is an all-round midfielder – creativity, vision and can break down attacks.
