Officials have informed SCORENigeria that AC Milan U19 midfield star Victor Eletu will join up with the rest of the Flying Eagles squad in Argentina by the weekend.

“Eletu will come in either May 12 or 13th. This is the best we could get from his club,” a team official told SCORENigeria
The highly-rated defensive midfielder is the only player on the final squad who did not fly out of Nigeria to Argentina.
He will process his entry visa in Italy and then join the Flying Eagles squad in Buenos Aires before they fly out to Mendoza on May 17.
The Flying Eagles failed to secure the release of another top young talent, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro from Inter Milan U19s after talks between the NFF and the Italian club broke down.
Nigeria are drawn in Group D of this year’s FIFA U20 World Cup along with Brazil, Italy and the Dominican Republic.
They open their campaign on Sunday, May 21 against the Dominican Republic.
