Representatives of Victor Osimhen have denied they have been in talks with PSG over the transfer of the Napoli striker.
Footmercato reported that Osimhen’s agents are close to an agreement with PSG as it concerns the personal terms of the striker.
However, the representatives have now issued a statement that this is not the case.
“Everything that is being said is false. It’s early to talk about the transfer window. A lot of people are trying to destabilize at this point. There is nothing,” they were quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.
Osimhen is the leading scorer in the Italian Serie A this season with 21 goals and this has attracted interest from some of the top clubs across Europe.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City in the Premier League, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and PSG have been widely linked with the Napoli star.
The player himself has said “a good solution” will be found at the end of the season to cast doubt about his future with Napoli.
“I don’t know what the future holds. I think I’m on the right track. At the end of the season, I will sit down with my agents and discuss everything. I will also be in talks with the club. I am incredibly grateful to Naples. We will find a good solution together,” he told Sport1.
