Coach Ladan Bosso has told SCORENigeria the foreign pros who will storm the Flying Eagles camp from this week will only be those who are expected to fill in for the problem areas of the team.
The Flying Eagles are getting set for next month’s U20 World Cup in Argentina after they were drawn in a tough first round group that has Brazil and Italy.
“We will start receiving the overseas pros from Wednesday,” Bosso told SCORENigeria
“But these players were carefully selected to specifically address the serious needs of the team.
“So, it will be more like positional invitations, those coming in will come to help us in areas of need.”
Attack, creative midfield as well as central defence are positions the Flying Eagles will have to fortify if they were to compete favourably on the global stage next month.
The U20s coaches have already shown they have kept tabs with the performance of the young players overseas after they handed a deserved call-up to AC Milan teenager Victor Eletu.
The highly-rated Eletu has been turning heads as a ball-playing defensive midfielder for the U19 team of his Serie A club.
