Rivers United have been handed a fair draw all the way to final of the CAF Confederation Cup after they were pitched against Young Africans of Tanzania with a semifinal passage at stake.
The first leg is fixed for Nigeria on April 23 with the return tie a week later.
Both teams first clashed in the CAF Champions League two years ago with the Nigerian club winning both legs 1-0.
The Port Harcourt club will then have to slug it out with either Egyptian club Pyramids or Marumo Gallants from South Africa to reach the final of the annual tournament.
This followed the draw for the knockout rounds of the competition in Cairo, Egypt.
Rivers United finished runners-up behind ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire to reach the last eight of the tournament.
‘Yanga’ topped their own first round group.
No Nigerian club have yet to win this competition since it was founded in 2004.
