Top team officials have told SCORENigeria that overseas-based professionals will join up with the rest of the Flying Eagles squad a week after the training camp opens in Abuja.
Coach Ladan Bosso has called up 35 players from the domestic league, who will open camp Sunday.
Bosso has insisted that foreign pros come down to prove themselves as there will be no automatic shirts.
He also said he will only invite these pros in positions that his team are lacking.
The coach recently likely foreign pros he is considering.
They are Ibrahim Mohammed ‘Ibeji’ (Spain), Ahmed Abdullahi (Belgium), Lekan Oyedele (Portugal) and Samson Lawal (Germany), who all featured in the qualifiers in May as local-based players.
Nigeria will submit a final 21-man squad for the U20 AFCON on January 20.
