Former Flying Eagles defender Igho Ogbu has been named among the top 20 best players in Norway for this outgoing year.
Ogbu was named 15th best star by Eurosport.
“The 22-year-old from Nigeria is brutally strong and uncompromising and fits brilliantly as the middle of a three stoppers,” read the citation for the defender.
“One of the spring season’s very best players in the Eliteserien, but like the rest of Lillestrom SK not always as brilliant in the second half (of the season).”
After a super start to the season, Lillestrom finished fourth and missed out on a place in Europe.
