Peter Olayinka has told SCORENigeria he is delighted to score his first goal in the Praha Derby at the weekend.
“This Derby is always a big game and I am excited to score my first goal in it,” he said.
Olayinka, who captained his side Slavia Praha to beat Sparta Praha 4-0, scored the last goal of the game and said the atmosphere is always different from any other big games.
“The atmosphere is very different from any big game. It’s always more electrifying and almost all the football fans in the city were present at the stands. It was massive support all the way. It can’t be explained,” he recalled.
He has now scored seven goals in all competitions this season for Slavia Praha, two in seven league games, one in the cup and four in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Olayinka has played for Bylis, Skenderbeu Korce(Both in Albania), Zulte Waregem, Gent (both in Belgium).
He has won the Albanian league, Czech League three times as well as the Czech Cup twice.
