Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has said Villarreal are still keen to sign Sadiq Umar.
Sadiq Umar has been identified by coach Unai Emery as a direct replacement for Arnaut Danjuma, but Premier League side West Ham have failed to meet up with the personal terms of the Dutch international.
However, Romano has now reported that Emery could still get his man should Senegal striker Boulaye Dia now move to Italian club Salernitana on loan with option for a permanent transfer thereafter.
Last season, Sadiq was top scorer for UD Almeria to gain a much-awaited promotion back to La Liga.
