The NFF have fired coach Augustine Eguavoen and his assistants following the Super Eagles failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The assistants are Emmanuel Amuneke, Salisu Yusuf and Joseph Yobo.
Others on the coaching crew are goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu and Paul Aigbogun.
Arch-rivals Ghana pipped Nigeria on the away goals’ rule to advance to the World Cup, which kicks off in November.
An official statement from the NFF said Eguavoen has stepped down as head coach with immediate effect following the failure of the country to qualify for the World Cup.
The NFF have also withdrawn the contracts offered the coaches.
“A new technical crew will be announced after a proper review to lead the new charge of reinvigorating the Super Eagles to face future challenges appropriately,” the statement read in part.
