The Super Eagles clearly know that this is a must-win game today and so they have selected a very attacking starting XI against Ghana to give the much-needed goals.
After a goalless draw in Kumasi Friday night, the winners of today’s game will qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Coach Augustine Eguavoen has made as many as five changes to the team who started in Kumasi.
Calvin Bassey has been preferred to Zaidu Sanusi at left back, while Frank Onyeka and Oghenekaro Etebo start in midfield ahead of Innocent Bonke and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Onyeka and Etebo brought an attacking verve to the Eagles when they were introduced late in Ghana.
Both wingers Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon have also been replaced by Ademola Lookman and Emmanuel Dennis.
