Goal King of Sweden Samuel Adegbenro has insisted he is not pushing for a major transfer on the back of what he achieved last season.
The 26-year-old winger fired 17 goals and provided two assists in 30 appearances to finish as top scorer in Sweden last season
There have been speculations about Adegbenro’s future, but the IFK Norrkoping star said he is not stressing about a move.
“I’m happy to be here (Norrkoping),” he told NT-sporten.
“Last season was my best, before then I had a lot of injuries, so I do not stress but want to work on and just do my best. Then you only get to see what happens.”
Adegbenro has two years left on his contract with the Allsvenskan club.
He said he will further welcome the pressure he will most likely face in the new season after his exploits in the last campaign.
“Pressure can come, but I cannot think of such things,” he said.
“Not many knew me before last season and that could make things easier. Now everyone knows who I am, it can get tougher but I do not put pressure on myself,” he maintained.
“Whenever I am on the pitch, I just do everything for the team to win.”
