Vincent Onovo has said he hopes Randers FC cause a big upset and go past Turkish giants Galatasaray to reach the group stage of the UEFA Conference League so he could feature for his new Danish club.
Onovo is not eligible to feature for Randers in the Conference League after he played in the same competition for his former Hungarian club Ujpest.
“I hope that my new teammates can create the surprise (vs Galatasaray), and then I am really looking forward to making my debut and getting started fighting for the club and the fans,” he said.
Vincent Onovo, 25, gets number 30 in Randers FC and can make his debut for Randers FC in Sunday’s 3F Superliga match against AaB at home.
He has signed a contract till 2024.
