Belgian champions Club Brugge are close to staging a major transfer coup with the signing of Wolves exciting young midfielder Ebeguowen ‘Owen’ Otasowie ahead of several top clubs like Ajax and Everton.
Defensive midfielder Otasowie, 20, is of Nigerian descent and was born in USA.
He is already a USA international, only recently winning the CONCACAF Gold Cup with the Americans, and he could also have been eligible for Nigeria and England.
According to Voetbalkrant.com, Otasowie wants more game time and so his decision to go with Club Brugge.
Schalke 04 and West Ham are among the other admirers for the young midfielder.
His transfer market value is put at 1.5 Million Euros.
