Former Super Eagles forward Anthony Ujah has played his first game for Bundesliga side Union Berlin after almost a year out with injury.
Ujah, 30, has been sidelined by a serious knee injury.
He played his comeback game against Heildesheim on Monday, featuring for the second 45 minutes of the encounter.
However, the former FC Cologne star will have to step up his game if he were to make to the first team as competition for places in attack is fierce.
Fellow Nigeria stars Taiwo Awoniyi and Suleiman Abdullahi are among Ujah’s direct rivals for first-team spots.
