Defender Junior Pius has said he is looking forward to the new and “important” season in Belgium following his transfer to Sint-Truiden after he was regarded as surplus to requirement at another Belgian club, Antwerp.
Central defender Junior Pius played on loan at STVV last season and they have now made his transfer permanent as they hope for another competitive campaign.
“All in all, STVV have achieved good results in pre-season, that doesn’t say everything, but still it’s something,” he told Het Belang Van Limburg.
“This will be an important season for me. Nobody expects much from STVV, but we can surprise. That’s why I came back and I’m very keen on that.”
