Victor Moses is set to be rewarded with a permanent deal at Spartak Moscow after a satisfactory loan spell at the top Russian club.
Spartak have the option to buy the Chelsea ace for five Million Euros.
The right winger netted four goals and provided as many assists in 19 appearances in the Russian Premier Liga.
His fourth goal came on the final day of the season in May and it was an all-important equaliser at Akhmat Grozny.
He got to the end of a pass at the top of the box before he let fly for the ball to rest in the left corner of the net seven minutes from time for final scores to read 2-2.
Spartak thus finished behind champions Zenit Saint Petersburg and qualify to feature in next season’s UEFA Champions League.
On the back of that late equalizer, Victor Moses was named his club’s Player of the Month for May.
He was also Man of the Match when he produced two assists for his team to win 2-1 at Arsenal Tula to stay within striking distance of leaders Zenit.
A permanent transfer to Moscow will bring a much-needed stability to the career and the young family of the player, who has been shipped out to six different clubs since 2012 – Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbache, Inter Milan and Spartak Moscow.
Victor Moses himself has called time on his international career after the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
He scored 12 goals in 38 appearances for the Super Eagles with the highlight being emerging as one of the stars as Nigeria won a third AFCON crown in South Africa in 2013.
