David Okereke may have failed to justify his record eight Million Euros transfer to Belgian champions Club Brugge, but he could now be on his way to top French club Lyon.
Cameroon star Karl Toko Ekambi, who played against the Super Eagles Friday night in Austria, could be on his way out of Lyon and reports have suggested Okereke is one of several likely replacements.
Ekambi shone last season for Lyon, scoring 14 goals and providing seven assists in 35 appearances.
This past campaign, Okereke scored four goals in less than a dozen appearances after he had delivered nine goals the previous season.
Two years ago, he moved to Belgium on a strong showing at Italian Serie B side Spezia.
