Sadiq Umar Super Eagles debut will have to wait again after he fired UD Almeria to the La Liga promotion playoffs with his 20th goal in the Segunda Division.
Sadiq has been called up for a friendly against Cameroon on June 4 in Austria.
However, he will miss out on the party as he will be pushing for his club to return to La Liga via the playoffs after he netted his 20th goal in a nervy 2-1 win over Logrones tonight.
In March, Corona travel restrictions also stopped him from the AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho.
The former Nigeria U23 star hit target as early as the second minute against Logrones Monday night.
He later missed a chance to increase the tally when he failed to convert a penalty.
He has now scored 22 goals in all competitions in Spain.
He also scored six goals at Partizan Belgrade to now have 28 goals this season.
