Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu will miss Sunday’s Ligue 1 clash against Lens due to another thigh injury.
Bordeaux have left him out of the matchday squad after he did not recover from his latest injury setback.
Coach Jean-Louis Gasset said he was injured in training before the last game against FC Nantes.
Kalu has already been left out of a provisional Super Eagles squad for next month’s friendly against Cameroon in Austria.
It has been a difficult season for Kalu after he rejoined the team for pre-season late, contacted Coronavirus and suffered several injuries.
Bordeaux are not safe from relegation as they are only two points above the drop zone with 39 points from 36 matches.
