Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi will tomorrow hope to lead Leicester City to their first-ever FA Cup triumph at the expense of UEFA Champions League finalists Chelsea.
Iheanacho is the highest scorer in the FA Cup with 14 goals, two goals more than the legendary Didier Drogba and compatriot Yakubu Aiyegbeni.
This season, he has scored four goals in the cup competition including the winner in the semifinal against Southampton.
This will be the first time since 1969 that ‘The Foxes’ will reach the Cup Final.
They have lost all four Cup Finals they have played.
For Iheanacho and Ndidi, cup triumph tomorrow will see them join an elite list of Nigeria stars who have already done so – Daniel Amokachi (Everton), Nwankwo Kanu, John Utaka (Portsmouth), Mikel Obi (Chelsea).
A crowd of 21,000 fans will be at Wembley for this showpiece event.
“We have earned the right to be in the final and we will arrive with an opportunity to make our own history,” said manager Brendan Rodgers.
