Midfielder Magashy, 23, opened scoring in the 45th minute at Falkenberg.
Former Flying Eagles striker Alhaji Gero was a late sub for Varnamo.
Varnamo have now won three straight matches of the new season after they lost their opening game of the campaign.
They are now top of the standings with nine points, two points clear of their nearest rivals.
Varnamo were promoted from the Ettan league last year.
