Striker Ike Ugbo may opt to join promoted Watford in the Premier League and not sign for AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1.
Ugbo enjoyed a successful loan spell at Cercle Brugge as his 16 goals helped them to escape relegation from the Belgian top flight.
Cercle Brugge have a buy-up clause of five million Euros for the Chelsea loanee, which could be taken up by owner-club Monaco.
But latest reports suggest Ugbo would prefer to return to England with Watford his most likely destination.
Watford have won promotion back to the English top league after a season in the English Championship.
Fulham are also interested in the striker, but they are likely not to be in the Premier League come next season.
