Former Flying Eagles defender Igho Ogbu has said he hopes to soon get a chance to play in the Premier League in England and that it will not be such a bad idea if it is at Chelsea, the club he has supported as a boy.
Ogbu will feature in the Norwegian top flight with Lillestrom after the “big disappointment” of not getting to do so as Rosenborg, his club in Norway.
“My dream is to play in the Premier League,” he told the LSK TV.
“But first I am focused on developing myself at Lillestrom.
“In the Premier League, I have always supported Chelsea because of John Terry, I fell in love with how he confidently played the game.”
The big defender, 21, has previously featured for Levanger and Sogndal.
He has signed a contract with Oslo-based Lillestrom till 2025.
The Norwegian league kicks off next month after a delay caused by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
