Nigeria U23 forward David Okereke will become the most expensive signing ever for Club Brugge when he finally signs for the Belgian club.
Media reports out of Belgium said he will cost Club Brugge eight million Euros when he joins them from Serie B side Spezia.
Already the likes of Daniel Amokachi and Joseph Akpala have played for Club Brugge.
The versatile forward, who turned down offers from Serie A clubs, has already undergone a routine medical.
The Abuja Football College graduate is expected to be a direct replacement for the Brazilian Wesley, who has moved to promoted Premier League club Aston Villa.
Okereke, who made his Nigeria U23 debut against Libya in Asaba earlier this year, has scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists in 33 appearances for his Serie B club.
