Valencia are considering signing Sadiq Umar in January, but they may pull out of the move because the striker could be involved with the AFCON in Morocco next month and this could keep him away for several weeks.
According to AS, Sadiq is one of the strikers on Valencia wish list.
However, the Spanish publication also reported that the 2025 AFCON will be a “negative factor” to this transfer as it will take Sadiq away for long.
Injury stopped Sadiq from the delayed 2023 AFCON last year in Cote d’Ivoire.
