Officials have disclosed that the Nigeria U23s will now welcome their Guinean counterparts to the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abuja for the first leg of a final playoff for the U23 AFCON.
The match is slated for March 22 and was originally to be played in Ibadan amid speculations it could be moved to Benin City.
The Nigerian U23s have been training in Abuja under coach Salisu Yusuf after 30 players mostly from the NPFL were called up.
The return leg match will be played in Morocco on March 27.
The overall winners of this final playoff will advance to the U23 AFCON to be hosted by Morocco.
It will be the final qualifying tournament for next year’s Paris Olympics.
