The CHAN Eagles will play for their pride tonight in a final group game at the 2024 CHAN today against Congo after they were eliminated from the tournament.
Kick-off time is 6pm.
The home-based Eagles crashed out of the competition a week ago when they were hammered 4-0 by Sudan.
They are yet to score a goal, have conceded five goals and are pointless after they also lost their opening game of the competition to defending champions Senegal.
The blame for this disappointing outing has been placed on the poor level of the NPFL, selection of players for this tournament with Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle also coming under fire from the fans and media.
Congo, on the other hand, still have a chance of reaching the knockout rounds as they have two points from as many matches and so will be gunning for three points to keep their hopes alive.
Sudan top the standings on four points, same as Senegal, but they have scored more goals than the defending champions.
