Sadiq Umar has said there are no limits to how many goals he can score this season after he fired 17 goals thus far.
He has netted 11 goals for promotion-seeking UD Almeria after he scored six goals for FK Partizan in Serbia at the start of the season.
This tally has matched what he achieved last season.
“My target was to reach the number of goals I scored last year and now that I have done it and without limits, I just have to keep on going and see where I will get to,” he declared.
The former 2016 Rio Olympics forward and his ambitious club are on a high after they eliminated La Liga outfit Alaves in the Round of 32 of the Copa del Rey.
He said that result has boosted the team’s confidence.
“We passed the test (against Alaves) and now it gives us more confidence to keep going,” he said.
“It all came with belief and our commitment.
“We hope to do much more.”
