Striker Paul Onuachu has moved closer to joining KRC Genk after it was reported in Belgium that the Belgian champions and Danish club FC Midtjylland have reached an agreement for his transfer.
The transfer has been on the cards for some time now because Midtjylland have placed a 12 million Euros price tag on the towering centre-forward and Genk were not prepared to pay that amount.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, both clubs have now reached an agreement.
Genk are ready to now pay seven million Euros for the Super Eagles striker.
Also, Midtjylland appear to have bought a direct replacement for Onuachu when they signed Sory Kaba from French club Dijon.
Last season, Onuachu has scored 22 goals and provided six assists in 40 games for the Danish club.
Genk have already signed Nigeria striker Stephen Odey from Swiss side FC Zurich.
