Zaidu Sanusi will make his UEFA Champions League debut tonight at Manchester City to crown an eventful month during which he debuted for FC Porto as well as the Super Eagles.
It has been a whirlwind of milestones for the highly-rated leftback, who last season was featuring for modest Portuguese side Santa Clara.
Tonight, Zaidu and the rest of the Porto team will hope for better fortunes against City, who have won the two meetings between the teams in this competition and scored six goals in the process.
The 23-year-old defender has thus far made three appearances for Porto in the league this season.
At the weekend, he played the entire 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw at Sporting Lisbon and even delivered an assist.
The departure of Brazil international Alex Telles to Manchester United has now improved his first-team chances.
