Zaidu Sanusi scored his first ever goal and it proved to be one of the match winners for FC Porto to move closer to qualifying for the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League tonight.
Porto only now need a point to send them through to the knockout rounds of the competition.
The Super Eagles leftback hit target on 39 minutes at Olympique Marseille to inspire the Portuguese champions to a 2-0 road win.
Zaidu put away a rebound from a corner.
Besides his goal, he was solid in defence as Porto achieved a double over Marseille in this competition.
Porto now on nine points will next Tuesday welcome group leaders Manchester City to decide the overall winners of this group.
City have recorded 12 points.
