AIK have stopped Zadok Yohanna from speaking to the media just as the Swedish club confirm that clubs “at very high level” are now tracking the youngster.
This comes as SCORENigeria reported that Catalan giants Real Madrid have joined in the race to sign the 18-year-old winger, who has taken Sweden by storm this season.
The massive interest has meant that AIK have stopped Zadok Yohanna from doing media work before matches. He is only available for interviews on matchday.
“There is a lot of interest and many clubs are following him. It is very positive for us and for the Allsvenskan,” AIK recruitment manager Miika Takkula told Fotbollskanalen.
“There are very high-level clubs that follow him and come here and watch all his matches.”
When asked if Real Madrid are one of the clubs keeping tabs on the player, the official simply said: “I don’t want to comment on specific clubs.”
Zadok has scored two goals and made three assists in seven appearances in the Swedish top league thus far.
