Yira Sor scored a goal and provided an assist, while fellow Nigeria star Tolu Arokodare also hit target for Genk to win 3-2 at Cercle Brugge today.
Former Flying Eagles dashing winger Sor opened scoring in the first minute.
He then assisted for Genk to restore their advantage in the 17th minute.
Arokodare netted his fifth goal of the new season in the 55th minute for what proved to be the winning goal of this Belgian league game.
Genk climbed to top of the standings with 13 points from six matches.
