Wolverhampton and Sheffield United target Alhassan Yusuf has said he is delighted to be linked with the Premier League clubs, but would prefer to remain focused at Swedish club IFK Gothenburg.
The 19-year-old midfielder has a contract with IFK Gothenburg till 2022, but he has been linked with a move to the English top flight after some superlative displays for his Swedish club last season.
“It’s a dream to play there (Premier League). It’s the best league in the world and I miss watching it,” the former FC Hearts star told fotballtransfers
“But right now it’s just a matter of focusing on what exists, in the present, but of course it’s always great to hear about interest from England, that they want to recruit me. It’s encouraging.”
Wolves are willing to fork out seven million Euros for The Young Player of the Year in Sweden last year, while Sheffield United were reportedly ready to pay 3.5 million Euros.
