West Ham have made “a strong” £25 Million bid for Terem Moffi, which could take the striker to the Premier League away from Ligue 1 where OGC Nice have also made an offer.
According to Sun journalist Alan Nixon, the Hammers have submitted a £25 Million bid for the Super Eagles striker.
“Hammers tabled their offer at the weekend after watching powerful Moffi score against Marseille,” he reported.
He then responded to questions about the chances of that West Ham offer being accepted as “Strong”.
However, he also admitted the bid by West Ham faced a threat from Ligue 1 side Nice.
West Ham certainly need a game changer to turn their fortunes around as they suffer a very real threat of relegation.
One would not have thought that after signing a striker in the summer the Hammers would need to secure the services of another one in January.
However, the way the season has panned out, they do need further reinforcements in the final third and Moffi could be an important signing for them.
