Ebuehi first-ever Serie A strike snatches victory for Empoli

Tyronne Ebuehi’s first-ever goal in Serie A proved to be the match winner for Empoli against Sampdoria.

The Super Eagles defender hit target in the 55^th minute.

It was his ninth appearance of the season and he joins a class of Eagles defenders like Taribo West and Ola Aina to score in Serie A.

The 27-year-old Ebuehi has made steady progress since he returned from a long-term injury at Portuguese giants Benfica in July 2019.

Empoli are 12^th on the table with 22 points from 18 matches.
