Paul Onuachu was left devastated after former club Genk failed to get him back with top Turkish team Trabzonspor now a likely destination for the striker.
In January, Onuachu said it was a dream to play in the Premier League with Southampton.
But that dream has since turned into a nightmare after Southampton were relegated and the striker failed to make an impression in the English top league.
He has refused to train with ‘The Saints’ as he awaits his next club.
Trabzonspor have been in contact with Onuachu for several months now and will most likely want the big centre-forward on loan at the first instance.
It has been reported that they have now improved their bid for the striker, who cost Southampton 18 Million Euros at the beginning of this year.
Their previous offer was three Million Euros for the loan and another three Million Euros to make the transfer permanent.
The Turkish transfer window will close on September 15.
