Kelechi Iheanacho has been lately linked with Nottingham Forest and Turkish giants Galatasaray following Leicester City relegation from the Premier League, but it is also possible that he could be tempted away from England by the billions Saudi Arabian clubs are offering some top stars.
Turkish news outlet Fotomac reported the Galatasaray interest in the Super Eagles striker, but also mentioned that the biggest stumbling block in such a transfer would be an offer from Saudi Arabia for Iheanacho.
The interest from Saudi Arabia was described by Fotomac as “surprise obstacle” to a Galatasaray switch for Iheanacho and that it is “strong”.
Another report had suggested that Nottingham Forest have opened negotiations to sign Iheanacho, whose contract runs out next year.
Forest are working on a Super Eagles strike force of Iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi for the new Premier League season.
