Henry Onyekuru has rejoined AS Monaco ahead of the new season in France, but the big question is whether he can finally take the chance to justify the 13.5 million Euros the Ligue 1 club forked out for him.
Today, Onyekuru had his first training with Monaco after a short break.
Last summer, Onyekuru started out as a starter under coach Leonardo Jardim, before he was consigned to the bench and after which he did not make the first-team squad.
He managed only an assist in four Ligue 1 matches.
He was then shipped out on Loan in January to Galatasaray, where he scored a goal and provided two assists in 10 Super Lig appearances.
He has rejoined Monaco under new coach Niko Kovac.
The 23-year-old Onyekuru, who has won 11 caps with the Super Eagles, has a contract with Monaco till 2024.
