Feyenoord will have to pay four Million Euros to sign striker Cyriel Dessers on a permanent basis at the end of this season and several experts said they should.
Dessers, who is on loan from Genk, has so far scored 15 goals and made four assists in 34 appearances for the top Dutch club.
Former Anderlecht coach Aad de Mos said Feyenoord should sign the striker.
“Dessers is a certainty. It is not casino luck, he all makes beautiful goals. No ticks or penalties. That combination just works well. You can’t get rid of Dessers if you win the Conference League, you can’t do that to your fans,” he told ESPN
Hans Kraay Junior said that Feyenoord should put 4 million Euros on the table for Dessers.
“I thought that was quite a lot of money in the beginning. But when you score so many important goals. Well, what do you buy for four million?”
Feyenoord could sign Dessers or Danilo, who will be a free agent from Ajax.
“You first have to ask the question whether you think he is better than Danilo”, said Hedwiges Maduro (ex-player of Ajax).
“If there’s any doubt there, you should take Danilo. Because he’s free. If there are four people who say Dessers is better, you should take him. “I would go for Dessers. He’s ahead, knows how to play and the fans are running away with him. You can also get them both, that’s right.”
