Brighton are the latest Premier League club reported to be interested in signing striker Paul Onuachu, but the question is whether they will now be willing to meet the asking price of Belgian club Genk.
It has been reported that Genk have now lowered their valuation for Onuachu and they will be ready to accept 20 Million Euros for the giant striker.
In the summer, when he was linked with several Premier League clubs, Genk wanted as much as 30 Million Euros for the Super Eagles striker.
Eventually there were no takers and instead Onuachu extended his contract with the Belgian club till June 2024 with an agreement between player and club they will still consider offers going forward.
Onuachu himself admitted he was disappointed he has not made the big transfer even after he scored 35 goals in all competitions last season.
He has so far fired nine goals this season and he could still move in the January transfer window.
Perennial relegation battlers Brighton have been the surprise package in the Premier League thus far as they are now sixth on the table with 14 points from seven matches.
