Victor Osimhen lucrative transfer to top Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal is finally off after a quick turn of events.
Al Hilal and Napoli had reached an agreement for the Saudis to pay the 75 Million release clause on the player only for Osimhen to turn down the chance to secure his financial future with a 35 Million Euros-a-year deal for the next four years.
Al Hilal had hoped they could push through this transfer in time for Osimhen to feature for them at this month’s FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America.
The 26-year-old striker has said he wishes to remain in Europe and not go for the millions Riyadh club Al Hilal offered.
Top Serie A club Juventus are now believed to be in pole position to sign him, while Galatasaray will also fancy their chances to keeping him after this sharp turn of events in the last few hours.
Juventus though will have to pay far beyond the 75 Million Clause as that is also valid for clubs outside of Italy.
It therefore promises to be a very hectic negotiation between Italian clubs Napoli and Juventus.

He still wants to shine. Going to Saudi Arabia now will end his shine. He knows that quite well. Osimhen is currently one of the world’s best strikers. He may consider going to Saudi when he hits 30 yrs of age and above. Good moves for his dreams.
By the way, that move would have placed him on a weekly pay of almost 730k Euros weekly. Osimhen definitely is not greedy.
