Free agent Ahmed Musa will train with West Bromwich Albion this week with manager Sam Allardyce saying he is on the lookout for affordable players who can shoot ‘The Baggies’ to Premier League safety.
SCORENigeria first broke that the Super Eagles skipper was mulling offers from the Premier League and now various reports have suggested that Ahmed Musa will be offered a loan deal by Allardyce should he impress on trails.
“We are considering all options – loans particularly, our funds are not big enough for permanent signings. It’s more loans which makes it more difficult,” the WBA boss told The Telegraph of London.
“And you have got to look at does the player want to come and have a fight at this level?
“Does he want to come and try himself in the Premier League with a team that is struggling?
“Does he want to put himself in the shop window, does he want to help us get out of trouble?
“We will try our best to find that player. It’s not easy.”
Ahmed Musa joined another Premier League side Leicester City in 2016 for a record 16 million pounds, but he failed to convince.
He was subsequently sold in 2018 to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, who have since let him go two years before his contract was up.
