Relegated Watford are open to letting William Ekong leave, but it has to be at the right price.
According to The Athletic, Watford plan to cut down on their wage bill after relegation from the Premier League and so have thrown open the exit door.
Central defender Ekong still has three years left on his contract after he joined Watford from Udinese in the summer of 2020.
Towards the end of last season, he was frozen out of the Watford first team as they battled to stay afloat.
He has lately been linked with a transfer to the Major Soccer League (MLS).
Last season, he made 17 appearances in the Premier League for ‘The Hornets’.
This was after a solid showing to gain the team promotion from the English Championship the previous season.
