Top NWSL club Washington Spirit have recalled Super Falcons midfielder Deborah Abiodun from her loan at Dallas Trinity.
The recall is coming four months early as she was to have ended the season with Dallas Trinity.
During her loan Abiodun made 14 appearances and started eight of these games.
In January, she signed a three-year contract with Washington Spirit with a 2028 option.
Washington Spirit said they are excited Abidon back.
Interim General Manager Nathan Minion said: “We’re thrilled to bring Deb Back to the Spirit as we approach the home stretch of the 2025 season.
“After following her impressive performances for Dallas and Nigeria this year, we know Deb will fit very well with this team and help us accomplish our goals.”
Abiodun will reunite with fellow Super Falcons star Gift Monday.
