Villarreal CF coach Unai Emery has said the undoubted qualities of Samuel Chukwueze on his return from an injury layoff are coming through for all to see.
Chukwueze has been sidelined by injuries since May 2021, but he has since bounced back to full fitness for his Spanish club.
The exciting winger even crowned his comeback with a goal in a UEFA Champions League tie at Young Boys of Berne recently.
“It’s great for ‘Samu’ to return after a major injury,” Emery said.
“(Against) Atletico Bilbao, the game demanded a little more of him and now he has had more playing minutes.
“We are now seeing the qualities of ‘Samu’.”
