Former Super Eagles star Victor Moses is closing in on a transfer to Major League Soccer (MLS) side New York Red Bulls.
His management agency said talks with the MLS side a progressing well.
“Victor has been training hard all through pre-season, getting himself back to full fitness after last season’s setbacks,” a source at the management agency disclosed.
“We’re currently in discussions with the New York Red Bulls, and it’s a move that makes a lot of sense for both sides.
“He’s motivated, hungry and ready for a new challenge.
“He still has a lot to offer at top level and the MLS provides an exciting opportunity for that.
“Nothing has been finalised yet, but things are moving in the right direction.”
The 34-year-old Moses is a free agent after he parted ways with Luton Town at the end of last season, which was marred by injuries.
His previous clubs include Chelsea, Inter Milan and Fenerbache.
